Henry! I have been searching for a way to communicate with you for so many years!!!! This is Elena (formally "Drupals"). I worked at Comstock from 1986 to 1989. Since then, my job experiences have never been the same as when I worked for Comstock. No, actually, it wasn't Comstock, it was you, and some very special people there that made it a wonderful experience (Judy Yioshioka, Thomas Wear, and many others). I have never worked under someone as compassionate, trusting, encouraging, and humble as you. For so many years I have wanted to thank you for all the opportunities you gave me, for the self esteem you built in me when I had none, for being such a great mentor, for demonstrating the true meaning of an "open door policy," for recognizing me, for giving me the freedom to make mistakes allowing me to not worry about them and not make them as a result, and for entrusting me with projects I had no idea I could do. I didn't know much about you personally. After reading this article about your relationship (or lack of) with your father, I admire all you've done even more and see a wonderful father figure in you. I too didn't have a relationship with my biological father...and the one with my step-father had been quite volatile. I was blessed to land my first job after college at Comstock, where an adult male had a more positive impact in my life over the course of less than 3 years, than the two potential fathers I had over many years. You are the best! And have always had a very special place in my heart...a permanent place...thank you.
